IOP Surf Lessons, founded by Brycen DePass is committed to making surfing as fun as possible to aspiring surfers of all ages and skill levels.

Hey! My name is Brycen, I’m 20 years old and I love to teach people how to enhance their surfing experience here on the Isle of Palms. My goal with IOP Surf Lessons is to spread the passion of surfing to as many people as possible and leave a positive long-lasting impression on everyone I cross paths with. I have been surfing for over 16 years and teaching surfing for around 5 years. I was lucky enough to grow up here on the island with an older brother and dad who taught me almost everything I know about surfing today. I am sponsored by Parrot Surf Shop, Tres Palmas Acai, and IPD. I am now in college and aim to spread those same teachings with my own spin to everyone I have the chance to meet!
